Two things to mention. My friend Mary mentioned this organization that helps people travel to places they want to go. They work in return for board. She is going to work at a vineyard in Italy. There are gardening jobs, there are kitchen jobs, and hopefully there would be something for me to do too! I think it's called helpex.
My other random thought is that Patti bought slow cookers this weekend. One of them is in Madison, complete with two cookbooks. If you would like to borrow it, or even just the cookbooks, help yourself. Cookbooks are above the stove.
